Technical Difficulties

Yea, so to be a successful blogger I realize you have to do it like every day.  And, when I started this it was to bring you, not just a colorful collection of my stories, (don't worry, they will continue) but the goods on the bakers and their baked goods.  And I will.  But i was "thinkering" and most of these places won't respect me with just a blog, right? (Please correct me if I'm wrong.) Therefore I began the search for a website.  It is awful!!!!  I signed on for a "fully customizable" template....you can't change the colors?!?!?! how is that right? The FIRST thing any self respecting girl would do is make the colors her own!!!!!  I can't find anything I like and I'm not dropping $600 bucks on it at this point. This is stunting my growth!  I'd much rather be posting or interviewing or tasting (it's been almost 2 weeks since my last cupcake and I feel myself growing weak)  Help!  I can't take this thing to the next level without a darn website.  Crazy thing is, I already ordered the business cards, thinking a website would be no biggie, do-do bird(or is it doo-doo...you get the point.), I should've known.  And don't suggest the D-I-Y thing.  I don't speak computer.  Besides I already tried.  They don't have the features I want.  Doesn't anyone know of a student in web design?  This is ridiculous.  It's 2011, I can't put whatever colors on whatever template I want?  We have dogs that sniff cancer and cameras in our GPS capable phones, and NO ONE thinks I might want Chocolate brown instead of baby-poo brown, really??  ERGGGGGG!  So that's why the posting has slowed.  Be patient with me.  As soon as the website is up I will be on top of my game.  The domain name is secured.  www.laconfectionista.com .  and if you have any suggestions, leave a comment or email me at laconfectionista@gmail.com ( see all matchy-matchy)   Until then I will continue posts as often as possible.  I won't give up.....I will prevail! and with God as my witness, I'll never go hungry again!
