Credentials

Sooo, let's discuss why I feel my site is worthy of your time and consideration. I mean I have no culinary arts degree, no bachelor's of brown sugar, not even a perfected recipe of my own.  But here's what I do have.
A) A serious, straight up, unadulterated love of dessert. When I go out to dinner, I plan my meal around dessert!( although I do eat it last... I want it to be the last taste in my mouth) 
B) Experience. 5 yrs of shooting wedding photography, multiplied by about 30 weddings a year. And would you be surprised to know I flat out demanded as part of the fee a piece of cake at every single wedding.(sometimes 2)  You do the math, I ate the cake!...a lot. Plus nearly 30 yrs of suckin down sweets at every single opportunity.
C) A desire to be as objective as possible. I mean who am I to tell you what to think.  Be serious, at this point you do not care about my opinion.  You don't trust me, at least not yet. Maybe later, but not now. So, for the most part I won't give too much of my opinions. Just the facts based on fair criteria (more on the details of judgements later- but I will usually try a place twice before an official review and try my best to periodically update reviews.  Which of course means more sweets for me).
D) A realization that it should be easier to find the desserts which we crave and when we crave them.  It is ludacris that some restaurants don't even put dessert on their menus or websites, I mean how are you supposed to choose a decent eating establishment without that critical information??? 
E) A large tolerance of research and a desire to share my finding with others.  Otherwise why am I the first person who believes St. Louis is lacking a "directory of delish" and willing to fill these shoes( of course if I keep this up, filling my shoes will be the least of my worries!)
F) No food allergies, or limitations (like vegan) so I can taste everything.


I hope that is good enough.  Am I missing anything?
